La Luna sul Raut is a social cooperative for the work placement of disadvantaged people. It’s purpose is to organize and manage various activities in the mountain area of Pordenone.  The project is connected to social and sustainable tourism, a tourism that promotes the meeting and the socialization of people, involving directly one or more persons with social disadvantage.

PRODUCTION AND SALE

The social cooperative La Luna sul Raut breeds goats and pigs, and produces in its cheese factory the goat’s cheese: soft cheese, matured cheese, ricotta cheese, spread cheese and yogurt. Moreover our cooperative produces goat’s and pork’s cold cuts and, particularly, between the more appreciated products, the kid and the goat’s salami, called Pitina.

La Luna sul Raut takes care of the development and the knowledge of the other farms and factory of the valley, choosing and selling typical products as dairy and sheep’s cheese, sheep and game’s salami, honey, herbs liquors, fruits, vegetables and mushrooms.
