La Luna sul Raut is a social cooperative for the work placement of disadvantaged people. It’s purpose is to organize and manage various activities in the mountain area of Pordenone.  The project is connected to social and sustainable tourism, a tourism that promotes the meeting and the socialization of people, involving directly one or more persons with social disadvantage.

The social cooperative La Luna sul Raut, in order to safeguard the area and its peculiarity and to explain to school children and visitors the farm and gastronomic traditions of the valley, offers to guests two different educational journeys:

• From milk to cheese: a journey that allows to follow actively the process of production of cheese from milk;

• Learn the wood: some journeys are dedicated to the knowledge of the trees and of the other plants that grow up in our woods, discovering some natural beauties of the Colvera Valley.

The activities suggested by our Educational Farm transform the visitors in the protagonists of an educational adventure in nature and rural world. This experience isn’t only tradition and memory of the past, but is the evidence of a way of life, that is still present in the valley, made of passion and daily efforts.

Our journeys, created for various age groups starting from 6 years old children, are customized in order to accommodate the needs and the features of the visitors.
