La Luna sul Raut
is a social cooperative for the work placement of disadvantaged people. It’s purpose is to organize and manage various activities in the mountain area of Pordenone. The project is connected to social and sustainable tourism, a tourism that promotes the meeting and the socialization of people, involving directly one or more persons with social disadvantage.

Doctor Roberto Valusso, president, and Doctor Giorgio Murari, vice president, are the creators and the charter members of La Luna sul Raut with Virgilio Maiorano, councilor representing Consorzio Leonardo. Under the aegis of this consortium, that has its head office in Pordenone, in 2006, was developed the project of La Luna sul Raut. This project rose also with the precious help of Il Segno association and of the Social Cooperative Il Ponte.
The Consorzio Leonardo is a consortium of social cooperatives that works in the district of Pordenone since 1998. Its purpose is to encourage the collaboration between the associates and to promote their social progress and cooperation.
Il Segno Association dedicates its time to persons with disabilities who live in the district of Pordenone, and promotes social activities.
Social Cooperative Il Ponte, that has its head office in Ghirano di Prata, acts as care home for adults with relationship and psychical problems. In this place they can take part to assembly activities, expressive activities (clay laboratory, art-therapy, educational activities, mosaic laboratory and personal care), daily activities (cook, attending to animals, horticulture and gardening, house works) and also to recreational activities (cinema, trips and summer vacations).
